Located between Nistowiak and Keg Lakes, these heavy rapids are usually portaged. The rapids are mentioned in the book The Lonely Land as the site of a fishing camp for mine employees. There was a uranium mine on Drope Lake (east of Stanley Mission). Remains of this mine were visible from the water of Drope Lake in the early 1970's, but can no longer be seen from the lake.
