Mission to Mars contains a lot of information about equilibrium. Some of
the information is simple. Some is quite complex. Because the material is
hypertext linked, there is no direct route that will cover everything in this material.
Instead, students can branch out into areas that may be more interesting to them.
At the same time, there is a general path through the material. It is
arranged into four main chapters, and a summary. Each chapter has a table of
contents listing its main topics. Also, there are two navigation arrows at the
bottom of each page. These will go forward

There are some computer simulations used. They require that you download a plugin and install it on your computer. Almost every experiment has either sample data, photographs, or video so that they can be used even if lab facilities are lacking. If you want students to do the experiments themselves, then you can also download and print a lab procedure for them. These are in Word 97 format and are suitable for duplication.
